Now that the crisp fall weather has come around, my thoughts turn to cozy sweaters in my favourite autumn colours. Don't you just love those rich coppers, warm oranges, vibrant reds and mossy greens? What, you're not an autumn like me? Don't worry! There are lots of colours in this fall's palette that will compliment your colouring. While many of you may poo poo the 80's approach to colour analysis, the theories still hold. However, colour analysis has become much more advanced by recognizing that not everyone can fit into the four seasonal boxes.
Modern analysis recognizes that people can "flow" between seasons. You might be "cool", which is a mix of summer and winter. You may not wear well the winter brights, but the soft summer colours are just a bit too soft for you.
Advanced colour analysis begins with finding out whether your undertone is warm (peachy) or cool (pinky). This is sometimes extremely difficult to determine with the naked untrained eye. Then, we try to determine your "home" season. This is the palette where most of the colours suit you and bring out your best features. From there, we find out if you flow between seasons. With this advanced analysis, you can ensure that you are always wearing your WOW colours.
And, I don't necessarily advocate that you must only go shopping with your colour wallet and insist that you only buy the identical colours contained in the wallet. The analysis will simply give you an excellent understanding on how colour, and its varying degrees of shades, tints and tones, affect your physical appearance. With that information, you will soon enter any store and zone in on your perfect colours, naturally.
